What's new in Recovo
Recovo updates arrive through the App Store. Turn on automatic updates so new blocked sites reach you without you having to do anything.
1.3.8 · November 2026
- Milestone medals. Every milestone now earns a medal, and Progress shows all nine with how many days to go until the next.
- Home shows your last seven days at a glance, and your day count rolls forward when a new day starts.
- The "Having an urge?" sheet now has a breathing ring that guides you through the 90 seconds.
- Reminders are rewritten: fresher wording day to day, no evening nudge on a day you've already journaled, and private lock-screen text by default.
- Blocks are harder to get around. Changing your phone's clock no longer ends a block early, and your accountability partner can't be changed while a block is running.
- Blocks now last their full length across a daylight saving change.
- 10 more gambling sites blocked in Safari.
- Simpler Block Setup and accountability partner screens.
- Security improvements to Sign in with Apple.
1.3.7 · October 2026
- Milestone celebrations. Reach a milestone and Recovo marks the moment, with your next one in view.
- Share your streak as an image. It's private by default: the card says "days free" unless you choose to say what it's for or add the money you've kept.
- Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your day count at a glance. They say "days free", never what from.
- A running block now counts down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
- Progress has a calendar of your bet-free days and a timeline of what people often notice as recovery goes on.
- The "Having an urge?" sheet adds three quick tools (ground yourself, play it forward, name what's behind it) and a one-tap helpline button.
- The active block screen shows a shield that fills as your block runs, and how long you've been protected.
- Eight more sweepstakes casino sites blocked in Safari, including SplashCoins.
- Fixes: a failed account deletion now says so, and declining a Screen Time prompt no longer shows an error.
1.3.6 · October 2026
- Safari site blocking now works on every supported iPhone. Before this update it only switched on for iOS 26.4 and newer.
- Clearer blocking: Apple's Screen Time can block about 50 websites. If your list goes past that, Recovo now tells you some sites may still load, instead of saying they're blocked.
- New "Send Us a Website to Block" option on the active block screen. We review every site sent in and add gambling sites to Recovo's Safari block list in an upcoming update.
- 16 more gambling sites blocked in Safari, including SpinBoss and Casino Rocket. Thank you to everyone who reported them.
- Recovo now requires iOS 16 or later, the minimum Apple supports for Screen Time blocking.
1.3.5 · October 2026
- Your streak now stays on Home while a block is running. The block gets its own card instead of replacing your day count.
- Clearer first day: the streak goal screen now explains that it's separate from your block, and its Back button works.
- Journal entries, urges and slips saved while you're offline or signed out are now kept and synced once you're back.
- WizSlots is now blocked in Safari, bringing the list past 400 gambling sites. It came in through Settings → Add a Website to Our Block List.
1.3.4 · October 2026
- Having an urge? Tap the urge card on Home for a 90-second breathing timer, a reminder of what's at stake, and one tap to your partner or a helpline.
- Logging a slip is now one simple, judgment-free step from Progress.
- Redesigned Settings, with a calendar for changing your start date and simpler daily reminders.
- If your accountability partner hasn't confirmed yet, Block Setup tells you before you rely on them.
- Eight more casino sites blocked in Safari, including Gamble Gorilla, Instant Casino, Roo Vegas and Lemon Casino.
1.3.3 · October 2026
- Seven more casino sites blocked in Safari, including PlayOJO, Spin Casino, Jackpot City and Lucky Dreams.
1.3.2 · October 2026
- Safari blocking works again. Since 1.3.0, a single bad rule could stop the website blocker from blocking anything. Every rule is now checked against Safari's own engine before release.
- Gambling brands are now blocked under every country domain (pokerstars.se, bet365.es, betano.com.br), plus 51 more regional operators across Europe, Africa and Latin America.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, up from 3 days.
- While a block is running, "Add More Apps & Sites" can only add. Unchecking something no longer unblocks it.
- Password reset links work again.
1.3.0 · August 2026
- A full visual refresh, with a new app icon.
- Already have time clean? Onboarding now asks when your recovery started, so your streak carries over.
- Analytics is now opt-in.
